Day 2
Next part of the day will be used to transfer us to Majuli, which has a tight schedule as the ferry is waiting for us.
The safari brought us to Kaziranga National Park, with a lot of different animals. Started with a lot of birds, even before entering the park it self.
After our return and breakfast we headed out for the ferry. We had a private one that has to make sure it has a place to board and can't use the general place when the local ferry is there. But also means it has just enough space for the cars to board and get over.
The process of boarding the ferry is very scary I believe as driver as they come down a nice slope and then need to get onto the ferry with a hard stop or a bath. This last piece is really going inch by inch with as target a stone to keep the wheel from going over.
The transfer of an hour gave us enough time to enjoy the weather, the view (including sunset) and to try some new gadgets as I just got a special set of lenses for my phone. With fisheye, macro and wide angle lens. The macro gives nice results but definitely requires new skills as you need to be mm's away from the target. Fisheye is easier to use.
