The first part of the day we used for two things. First a quick visit to the local museum where we could only look at the outside items as this holiday it was closed. Still a nice impression of the local art.
The festival has set up a tribe house for every tribe where some members are showcasing their dress, all very colourful and impressive.
Next day (Saturday) we took the train to get to the house in the mountains. For this the train to Mariani was the easiest way as we were to many to go by car. From there with two autos to our final destination.
We stayed at a nice bamboo house in the mountains, you won't be able to see the house in google maps so have to see the photo.
Early in the morning I got up to enjoy the sunrise. Beautiful views of the fields covered with fog. Slowly trees showing up with also the electricity net. Just when I thought I was ready it turned out that I had started early and almost missed the sun. So another half hour of taking photos to catch the sun on the fog.
Next day starting on time with a visit to the sawing factory of Anakali's dad. After that on our way to the airport as the flight back is not the most optimal timing, leaving around 13:00 and arriving only at Bangalore after 23:00 with a long stop in Kolkata.
